Community Involvement

To grow and prosper, communities require care. It is the work of many hands ... sharing many talents, many hours, and many gifts. The members of Northwestern Mutual - Macon share this commitment to the community in which they live and work, to make it a better place, to make a difference.

Most NM – Macon Financial Representatives are involved in their churches and children’s schools, contributing time and other resources as able and appropriate.

Here are a few examples:

Jack Head consistently volunteers his time with the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. A member there for many years, Jack has served as Chairman of the Administrative Board, Sunday School teacher, member of the Board of Trustees, committee chair, leader in youth program, as well as singing in the choir.   He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Macon Outreach Ministry located at Mulberry UMC.

Ric Tipton serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for Valley Rescue Mission   which works to affect a change in the quality of life for the homeless, the needy and the addicted and to help people reenter society as productive, contributing citizens upon completion of the programs.

Robert M. Danner III serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Presbyterian Day School.

Northwestern Mutual financial representatives have the opportunity to determine their own financial futures while making an impact on others.
